Explanation

Geo-spoofing is the practice of disguising your true geographic location online by routing your connection through servers in another country, most commonly using a VPN or Smart DNS service. For streaming purposes, geo-spoofing allows users to access content libraries from other regions that are blocked in their country due to licensing agreements. Streaming platforms actively combat geo-spoofing by detecting and blocking known VPN and proxy IP address ranges.
